Yoga for All: How to Adjust the Yoga Practice for any Limitation
With Narayana Chaitanya and Ganapati Chaitanya

For graduates of the Sivananda Yoga Teachers Training Course or equivalent 200hr Teachers Training Course.
This course teaches how to adapt the practice to those with specific needs: seniors, people with reduced mobility, those recovering from an accident, illness, or difficult period. It includes theoretical conferences and practical workshops.
Topics covered:
- How to structure an asana class that is suitable for everyone, while maintaining the classic approach to yoga
- Creating an encouraging environment for people who need a modified class
- Providing variations/adaptations tailored to different needs
- Beyond asanas: pranayama, meditation techniques, mantra chanting, and concentration practices for everyone
With certificate of participation
Daily schedule:
- 6am: Satsang (group meditation, kirtan and mantra chanting, short lecture)
- 8am: Yoga class
- 10am: Brunch (lacto vegetarian / sattvic diet)
- 10:45am: One-hour karma yoga (selfless service)
- Between noon and 3pm: Lecture or workshop (1h30 to 2h)
- 4pm: Yoga class or workshop
- 6pm: Dinner (lacto vegetarian / sattvic diet)
- 6:45pm: One-hour karma yoga (if not done in the morning)
- 8pm: Satsang (group meditation, kirtan and mantra chanting, short lecture)
This daily schedule can be subject to occasional changes.
Arrival/Departure:
- Check-in: 2pm-8pm, on first day. First event is 4pm yoga class on arrival day
- Check-out: by 11am, on last day. Last event is an afternoon lecture on departure day

Narayana Chaitanya
Narayana is an experienced yoga teacher who contributes much to the development of the ashram through his love of asanas and all aspects of yoga, his gift for organisation, his balanced and positive nature and his commitment to serving the ashram in all areas.

Ganapati Chaitanya
Ganapati is an enthusiastic asana teacher and a dedicated yoga practitioner. He has been serving in our London centre for some time and has now joined the Ashram. He enjoys giving the asana classes and lectures to the Ashram guests. He is part of the team managing the teachers’ training course registrations.
