Diving deep into the asana
With Prema Arenas Bonansea (guest teacher)
August 26 - 30, 2026
This course is suited for yoga teachers and dedicated yoga practitioners. A prerequisite knowledge and practice of Hatha yoga make it not suitable for beginners
Join us for an immersive yoga intensive designed to deepen your understanding of asana as a gateway to higher states of consciousness. This program is open to yoga teachers seeking further education and intermediate students who wish to enrich their practice with profound wisdom from classical yoga texts.
Whether you are a yoga teacher seeking deeper knowledge or a practitioner ready to step into new dimensions of practice, this experience will inspire, challenge, and give you more tools for inner and outer transformation.
Rooted in the teachings of the Sivananda tradition, the Yoga Sutra of Master Patanjali, and Yogi Swatmarama’s Hatha Yoga Pradipika, this training will guide you beyond the physical practice into the essence of yoga as a spiritual path.
Take this opportunity to journey inward, refine your practice, and awaken the deeper dimensions of yoga. We look forward to diving deep into Asana with you!
Prema will give daily one of the two yoga classes and the noon workshops 27-30 August.
Course taught in English, with simultaneous French translation
Topics covered:
- Asana as Meditation in Motion – Learn how physical postures cultivate awareness, energy flow, and inner transformation. You will be guided in deepening your asana practice while preventing injury and leading you to the inner limbs of Raja Yoga: Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, Samadhi.
- The 8 Limbs of Raja Yoga – A deep dive into Patanjali’s roadmap to enlightenment and its practical application.
