Lecture 1: Who am I, really? — Discovering the true Self
Understanding our real identity

- Simple introspection and observation exercises to experience inner stillness

Lecture 2: What is real? — Seeing the world as it is
Gaining a clear perspective on life, relationships, and reality
- The difference between appearance and essence
- Understanding impermanence and the cause of attachment
- Vedantic insight into māyā explained through everyday analogies
- Seeing unity amidst diversity: how non-dual vision transforms relationships
- Cultivating equanimity and compassion through clarity of understanding
Lecture 3: Why am I not peaceful? — The nature of the mind
Understanding how the mind creates bondage and freedom
- How thoughts, desires, and fears cloud our natural peace
- The three qualities (guṇas): sattva (clarity), rajas (restlessness), tamas (inertia)
- Managing emotions through awareness and detachment
- The art of sakṣi bhav: being a witness to one’s mind
- Practical Vedantic methods for inner calm in daily life
Lecture 4: How can I be free? — Living Vedanta day to day
> Integrating Vedantic wisdom into action, work and relationships
- The meaning of freedom in daily living: inner independence
- Balancing action and knowledge
- Practicing awareness in ordinary situations: mindful living as Vedanta in action
- Cultivating detachment without indifference
- Practical tools: reflection, meditation and gratitude
With certificate of participation
Daily schedule:
- 6am: Satsang (group meditation, kirtan and mantra chanting, short lecture)
- 8am: Yoga class
- 10am: Brunch (lacto vegetarian / sattvic diet)
- 10:45am: One-hour karma yoga (selfless service)
- Between noon and 3pm: Lecture or workshop (1h30 to 2h)
- 4pm: Yoga class
- 6pm: Dinner (lacto vegetarian / sattvic diet)
- 6:45pm: One-hour karma yoga (if not done in the morning)
- 8pm: Satsang (group meditation, kirtan and mantra chanting, short lecture)
This daily schedule can be subject to occasional changes.
Arrival/Departure:
- Check-in: 2pm-8pm, on first day. First event is 4pm yoga class on arrival day
- Check-out: by 11am, on last day. Last event is an afternoon lecture on departure day

About the Teacher
Swami Kailasananda, Yoga Acharya
Yoga Acharya and director of the Ashram de Yoga Sivananda. She is a long-time disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda and teaches in Sivananda Yoga Teachers’ Training (TTC), Advanced Teachers’ Training (ATTC) and Sadhana Intensive courses with much clarity, generosity and deep insight. She is author of the book "The Sivananda book of meditation”
